The book will redefine mental health so that we see it through a different lens.

A lens that considers how our brain transforms energy and what can go wrong which results in mental health symptoms.

The book will explore the science of brain energy, how your cells use and transform the food you eat and the oxygen you breath, to power our thinking, feeling, behaviours and emotions. It will cover how stress, inflammation and other factors derail the process, causing energy resistance. The book explains how energy resistance is behind the symptoms of anxiety, low mood, brain fog, and emotional instability which are signs of an energy crisis, not a psychological failure. It provides practical strategies to optimise resistance to improve the flow of energy and restore optimal mental health.
